About this policy

INPROX Faculty is an academic management app for authorised faculty members, managers and administrators of INPROX Academy. It supports class schedules, class completion submissions, verification, teaching-hour records and related notifications.

The app and its related academic services at academic.inprox.in are operated by INPROX Academy, under Nextbiz School of Commerce and Management Pvt Ltd (referred to as “INPROX”, “we”, “our” or “us”). We are responsible for the personal information we process through these services.

This policy explains what information we process, why we use it, who can access it and how you can contact us about your information.

Information we process

Information may be provided by you, entered by an authorised INPROX administrator, or generated when the app and its services are used.

Account information

Your name, registered mobile number, email address where provided, user and faculty identifiers, account status, role and access permissions.

Academic and teaching records

Assigned courses, batches, subjects and topics; class dates and schedules; planned and actual start and end times; submitted hours; topic completion; faculty remarks and next-class plans; and leave or cancellation information you provide.

Verification records

Submission status, verified hours, break deductions and other time adjustments, review remarks, reviewer identity, and the times and history of submissions, reviews and authorised edits.

Sign-in and security information

Your mobile number and the one-time password (OTP) you enter for verification; sign-in results, session identifiers, IP address, request times and related security or error logs. OTPs are processed to verify access to your registered number.

Notifications and technical information

Firebase installation identifiers and push-notification registration tokens, platform and app version, device registration activity, notification content, delivery status and in-app read status. Firebase also processes technical service information, such as IP addresses and app, SDK and device metadata, to operate and maintain its services.

Support correspondence

Contact details and information you choose to provide when you email or otherwise contact INPROX for help or to make a privacy request.

Free-text remarks can contain information you choose to enter. Please include only what is necessary for academic administration and avoid unrelated sensitive information about yourself or others.

How we use this information

• Identify your authorised account, send and verify sign-in codes, and maintain your signed-in session.
• Display the class schedules and records available to your role.
• Record completed classes, review submissions, apply authorised hour adjustments, and calculate submitted and verified teaching hours.
• Send class reminders, submission and verification updates, and relevant administrative notifications.
• Maintain an audit history, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts and prevent misuse.
• Respond to support and privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use it for personalised advertising. The app does not display third-party advertisements.

Who can access your information

Within INPROX

Faculty accounts access their own assigned schedules and teaching records. Authorised managers and administrators can access faculty information and submissions within the scope of their permissions, including reviewing records and making permitted corrections. Verification and edit history may identify the people who performed those actions.

Service providers

• MSG91: processes registered mobile numbers, OTP verification requests and related delivery information to send and verify sign-in codes. Telecom providers are involved in delivering these messages.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: processes installation identifiers, notification tokens, message content and technical information to route push notifications and operate the messaging service.
• Hosting and technical service providers: process the application database, server requests and operational logs to host and support the service. Email providers process correspondence when you contact us.

We use these providers to support the functions described in this policy. Their handling of service information is also governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Legal and security requirements

We may disclose relevant information when required by applicable law or a valid legal request, or where necessary to investigate misuse and protect the rights or security of users and the service.

Your device and choices

Notifications. You can allow or disable notification display through your Android settings. Class records remain accessible through the app when notifications are disabled. Disabling notification display does not delete your account or necessarily remove the identifiers used by the messaging service. Notification previews may show class or submission information on your device; you can control lock-screen previews in Android settings.

Local storage. The app stores a sign-in token on your device to maintain your session. Successful sign-out removes the app's stored sign-in token and revokes that session on our server. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app does not delete your account or server-side teaching records.

Device access. The app uses an internet connection and notification-related capabilities. It does not request access to your contacts, SMS inbox, camera, microphone, photo library or precise device location. You enter the OTP yourself.

Website storage. The signed-in academic web portal uses essential session cookies for authentication. This public privacy-policy page does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting server may record normal request information when the page is opened.

Security and processing locations

App requests to our academic service use HTTPS. Authentication, role-based permissions and audit records help control access and trace authorised changes. Access to personal information is limited to authorised people and the service providers involved in delivering the relevant functions.

Information is processed by INPROX and its service providers. Providers such as Google Firebase operate international infrastructure, so information may be processed outside India. Provider processing locations and safeguards are described in their privacy information linked above.

No internet service or storage method can guarantee complete security. Please protect access to your device and never share your sign-in OTP with another person.

How long we keep information

We retain information for the purposes described in this policy. The period depends on the type of record, your relationship with INPROX, academic administration needs, security requirements, genuine disputes and applicable legal obligations.

• Account and teaching records are maintained while needed to provide access, administer classes and verify teaching activity. Relevant records may need to remain after app access ends where there is a legitimate retention requirement.
• Sign-in, notification and audit records are kept as needed for account security, message delivery, troubleshooting and verifying administrative actions.
• Session expiry or account deactivation restricts access; it does not by itself erase the underlying records.
• Provider systems and backups can have separate retention periods. Where information is eligible for deletion, removal from backups or provider systems may follow their deletion cycles.

When information is no longer needed for a legitimate purpose, we delete it or remove identifying details. You can ask us about the retention applicable to your records or request deletion using the process below.

Access, correction and deletion requests

You may contact INPROX to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate details, raise a privacy concern, or request deletion of your INPROX Faculty account and associated personal information.

1. Email info@inprox.in with the subject INPROX Faculty – Privacy Request.
2. Include your name and registered mobile number so we can identify the account.
3. Tell us whether you are requesting access, a correction, account deletion, or deletion of particular information.

Requests are handled by INPROX's administration team. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or deleting information. Do not include an OTP, password or identity-document copy in your initial request.

We will review your request, remove personal information that is eligible for deletion, and explain any information that must be retained and the reason. Exceptions are limited to legitimate needs such as legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or resolving a genuine dispute. Retained information is limited to what is necessary for that purpose. Merely disabling an account is not the same as completing a deletion request.

This opens your email app. Send the email to submit your request. You can also write directly to info@inprox.in.

Children and account access

INPROX Faculty is intended for authorised adult faculty members and management staff. It is not a student-facing service or an app intended for children under 18. Accounts are supplied or authorised by INPROX; the app does not offer public self-registration.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through an account without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features, service providers or data practices change. The current version will remain available on this page with an updated revision date. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as applicable.
